PADUCAH, KY (09/26/2018) It's time to sign up for West Kentucky Community and Technical College's study abroad adventure. Sign up now to travel to the Greek Islands from May 25-June 7, 2019.
The trip, which is open to WKCTC students, faculty, staff and the community, will provide travelers with 14 days to explore Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and Crete, the largest of the Greek Islands.
Highlights of the trip includes Acropolis, Parthenon, windmills in Mykonos Town, Akrotiri excavations, village of Pyrgos, ruins of Knossos, Heraklion Archaeological Museum, Olympic Stadium, Temple of Zeus and much more.
"Visiting Greece will not only be spectacularly beautiful, but it will also be culturally and educationally rich. Athens and the Greek islands will provide much insight into the history of early civilization and mythology," said Pat Blaine, WKCTC study abroad trip coordinator and education program coordinator.
