LEXINGTON, VA (03/27/2014)(readMedia)-- Pasquale Toscano, from Kettering, Ohio, a sophomore at Washington and Lee University, was recognized as a General of the Month for his many contributions to W&L.
He is one of 12 recipients recognized this winter term by the Celebrating Student Success (CSS) initiative sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs to inspire engaged citizenship at W&L.
Toscano is a classics and English double major. He is a Johnson Scholar, sophomore justice with the Student Judicial Council, is an interviewer for the 2014 Johnson Scholars, peer tutor and a tour guide with the Student Recruitment Committee. He has been listed on the Dean's List and Honor Roll. A graduate of Fairmont High School, he is a member of Phi Eta Sigma honor society and the University Wind Ensemble. He is a research assistant for Professor Rebecca Benefiel.
CSS celebrates the positive accomplishments of individuals and organizations at Washington and Lee University. It recognizes students for the depth and breadth they add to the W&L campus community. Recipients were selected by the CSS Committee, which is composed of students, faculty and staff and any member of the campus community can nominate a W&L student at any time.
