Waterloo Farm Wins Iowa State Fair Hampshire Sheep Show

DES MOINES, IA (08/24/2010)(readMedia)-- Pullins Hamps of Waterloo and Bobendrier Hampshires of Pipestone, Minn., earned top honors in the Hampshire Sheep Show judged Thursday at the 2010 Iowa State Fair.

Pullins Hamps showed the Grand Champion Ram and placed third in the Premier Exhibitor contest.

Bobendrier Hampshires showed the Grand Champion Ewe and the Reserve Grand Champion Ram and placed first in the Premier Exhibitor contest. The Reserve Grand Champion Ewe was exhibited by L&L Hampshires of Blair, Neb.

L&L Hampshires also placed second in the Premier Exhibitor Contest.

The Premier Exhibitor Award is given to the exhibitor who accumulates the most points based upon the day's placings.
