Wellness Center dedication and groundbreaking ceremony to be held Saturday at Campbellsville University

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (07/09/2019) (readMedia)-- The dedication of the Betty Dobbins Heilman Student Wellness Center will be in Ransdell Chapel on Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. with the groundbreaking ceremony for the E. Bruce Heilman Welcome Center to follow.

Otto Tennant, senior vice president for operations and administration (COO), said the wellness center is "something we have had on our wish list for years. We are thankful to the Heilman family and for the benefits it will provide the students."

The groundbreaking will take place across from Ransdell Chapel between the E. Bruce Heilman Student Complex and the School of Education. "The Heilman Welcome Center will be the third building of the Heilman complex," Benji Kelly, vice president for development, said.

Following the groundbreaking ceremony will be a luncheon in Winters Dining Hall. Both ceremonies and the luncheon will be open to the public.

Campbellsville University is a widely-acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 12,000 students offering over 100 programs of study including Ph.D., master, baccalaureate, associate, pre-professional and certification programs.
