West Delaware FFA Chapter Boar Claims Iowa State Fair Title

DES MOINES, IA (08/09/2018) (readMedia)-- "Itty Bitty," a member of the West Delaware FFA Chapter, claimed the Big Boar title by just two pounds at the 2018 Iowa State Fair. The champion boar tipped the scale at 1,163 pounds.

"Yo-Yo," owned by Saratoga Show Pigs of Riceville, claimed second place weighing 1,161 pounds.

The Big Boar contest had 5 entries.

The Big Boar, as well as the Big Ram and Super Bull, will be on display at the Iowa State Fair in the Swine, Sheep and Cattle Barns respectively through August 19.
