West Palm Beach Native Promoted to Associate Professor at St. Mary's College of Maryland

ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (06/14/2013)(readMedia)-- St. Mary's College of Maryland announces that Charles Musgrove, native of West Palm Beach, FL, has been reappointed with tenure and promoted to Associate Professor of History. Musgrove joined the St. Mary's faculty in 2007. He holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of California, San Diego, and teaches courses in modern Chinese and Japanese history. He has received a Fulbright research grant to study, during 2013-2014, the emergence of democracy in Taiwan.

St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
