MEDFORD, MA (06/29/2010)(readMedia)-- Elliot Lobel, a Weston resident and a graduate of Tufts University in Medford/Somerville, was presented with the Tufts University Citizen Lawyer of the Year Award for his work in establishing a strong partnership between Tufts' Tisch College of Active Citizenship and Public Service and the Tufts Lawyers Association. Lobel, an attorney and founding partner at Prince Lobel Glovsky & Tye, has invested countless hours in developing a pro bono project that will pair members of the Tufts Lawyers Association with low-income individuals requiring legal assistance. Through this initiative, Lobel hopes Tufts' "Citizen Lawyer" alumni will be able to reconnect with their alma mater, gain valuable experiences, interact with and serve as role models for current Tufts students, and provide a valuable service for members of the local community who need assistance.
