Wheaton College (Ill.) Hannah Roeske named to 2018-2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District 7 Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team

Hannah Roeske of the Wheaton women's cross country and track teams has been named to the 2019 Women's Google Cloud Academic All-District Seven Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team, selected by CoSIDA.

Roeske earned First Team Academic All-District recognition as a sophomore Applied Health Science major at Wheaton with a 3.92 cumulative grade point average. Roeske earned her second career All-American recognition in cross country in 2018 as she finished 15th at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. The 2018 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) named Roeske the 2018 Midwest Region Runner of the Year after her first-place finish at the 2018 Division III Midwest Cross Country Regional. In March, she was a Division III Indoor Track & Field All-American in the one-mile run, earning her sixth career All-American accolade across cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
