Wilkes University students Matthew Finnegan and Joshua Bradley presented research papers during the Pi Sigma Alpha National Student Research Conference. The event took place Feb. 15-17 at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Pi Sigma Alpha is the national political science honor society.
Finnegan is a junior political science and international studies major. His paper was entitled "Wind Turbine Construction Projects and Their Effects on Tourism."
Bradley is a junior political science and international studies major. His paper was entitled "The Effect of Energy Trade Dependency on Foreign Policy."
The conference provides a platform for Pi Sigma Alpha members to present their research findings in a professional setting with opportunity for engagement with peers.
Finnegan and Bradley are research assistants with assistant professor of political science Andreea Maierean.
