Will Stauffer of Churubusco named Student Body President at Huntington University

HUNTINGTON, IN (03/18/2013)(readMedia)-- Will Stauffer, a junior communication studies major from Churubusco, Ind., has been elected Student Body President of Huntington University for the 2013-2014 school year.

Stauffer is the son of Curt and Dawn Stauffer, and the brother of Alicia and Charity.

Stauffer is an active member of several other student organizations, including Huntington University's student ambassador program, Front Line Foresters, and International House. He is also a resident of the HU men's community house on College Avenue. He has served on student senate for three years.

"As president, I want to improve upon what senate does well and change what senate does poorly," he said. "As every president should, I will do my best to lead senate forward in carrying out its mission to represent the voice of the students to faculty, staff, administration and the public."
