GCC Jake Wittmeyer signs a National Letter of Intent with the University of Indianapolis

BATAVIA, NY (04/18/2016)(readMedia)-- GCC men's lacrosse defender Jake Wittmeyer (Hamburg) recently committed to the University of Indianapolis to continue his academic and athletic career beginning in the fall.

Wittmeyer signed a National Letter of Intent with the Greyhounds, who are currently in their first season of intercollegiate competition. U-Indy is part of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level.

Wittmeyer has played in 28 games and made 27 starts so far during his career at Genesee. He has collected a total of 62 ground balls and caused 33 turnovers in a season-plus of play.

GCC is currently ranked No. 4 in the NJCAA National Poll and have played to a 9-3 record so far this year.
