Zeldin Begins Airing Radio Commercials
Spots Highlight Independence, Leadership
MASTIC, NY (06/09/2008)(readMedia)-- The Republican candidate for New York’s First Congressional wasted no time beginning his full-blown summer media blitz designed to connect with Long Islanders disenchanted with an array of disappointing issues and disillusioned with their elected leadership.
“The issues can’t afford to take a summer vacation,” said GOP candidate Lee Zeldin, officially tabbed two weeks ago by the party to run for the Eastern Long Island District. “We recognize that our campaign started long ago, and these commercials only continue to showcase the themes and platforms important to Long Islanders that we’ve addressed since we began last October.”
The Zeldin campaign will begin airing radio ads designed to set the stage for the next five months of the 2008 race.
“Whether my opponent admits it or not, this campaign has already begun,” said Zeldin. “These ads only underscore our commitment to getting our message out and keeping the public informed.”
The first in a series of ads Zeldin is introduced to the audience as the candidate with, “The Right Stuff.” The ads highlight Zeldin’s independent spirit, family values, commitment to the community and background of service.
The radio ads will begin to air on local stations today and are available at Zeldin’s campaign Web site, www.zeldin08.com. A copy of the radio ad is also attached.
