Maine Soldier Receives 'Honor Graduate' Distinction from Honor Guard Course

AUGUSTA, ME (03/29/2012)(readMedia)-- Maine Army National Guard Soldier Spc. Christopher E. Weymouth from Chelsea, Maine recently attended the Army National Guard Honor Guard Course at the National Guard Professional Education Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Weymouth is the first Soldier from Maine to earn the title of "Honor Graduate" at this course.

Weymouth displayed exemplary service while attending the Army National Guard Honor Guard Course. His attention to detail and proficiency while performing all aspects of Military Funeral Honors has set him above all of his peers and earned him the title of Honor Graduate for this course.

A member of Co B, 3/172d Infantry (Mountain) in Brewer Maine, Weymouth will be awarded the Maine Academic Award for this achievement at a later date.
