MILTON , MA (10/28/2011)(readMedia)-- Curry College is pleased to announce that Norwell resident, Andrew Devine, son of Susan Griffin and Mark Devine, will be directing a scene in John Cariani's magical love comedy, Almost, Maine. Andrew is a 2009 graduate of Norwell High School, where they did a performance of Almost, Maine in 2010. Currently a Curry College junior majoring in communication, Andrew has been seen on the Curry Theatre Stages in Romeo and Juliet, The Vicious Cycle, English Made Simple, Bat Boy and The Variations on the Death of Trotsky. Almost, Maine will mark Andrew's debut as a director for the Curry Theatre Black Box.
Almost, Maine is a collection of nine surreal moments, all taking place under the Northern Lights in a town in Maine, so small, that it can only be called "Almost, Maine." This delightful comedy comes to the Curry stage November 19-21, 7:30pm, in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved at 617 333 2259 (Option 2).
