BANGOR, MAINE (09/07/2022) (readMedia)-- The 101st Air Refueling Wing is hosting a local media day on Sept. 11th in which outlets will be authorized to visit the installation for our Family Day, a day in which we invite all families of military members out for food, games, tours, and activities around the Wing. Highlighted this year will be a display of the KC-46 Pegasus; the future of mid-air refueling. The 101st is pursuing the KC-46 airframe, aiming to replace the KC-135.

WHAT: | Media are invited to collaborate with wing members/families and conduct video news stories encapsulating the event. Opportunities for interviews with subject matter experts and leadership will be made available. Schedule of events includes: -11 a.m. show time at the main gate-Media personnel will be expected to follow the designated escort to Building 499 (Big Hangar)-Interviews can either be at the start or finish-Tour of the KC-46 Pegasus |
