2009 Quadricentennial Calendars Now Available For Sale

Individual Photo Reproductions Also Available for Purchase

ALBANY, NY (12/03/2008)(readMedia)-- The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District's (BID) celebratory 2009 Quadricentennial Commemorative Calendar is now available for sale. Featuring 13 juried photographic images of Albany, the calendar also boasts a timeline of Henry Hudson's voyage, significant milestones in Albany's history and calendar dates for key 2009 Albany events (available at press time.) The limited edition calendar retails for $20 with money raised going to the Downtown Albany BID, a 501(c)(3) organization. Discounts are available for those wishing to purchase quantities of six or more. The calendars are available for sale directly from the Downtown Albany BID office at 522 Broadway in Albany, and have also been distributed for sale to popular local attractions and retail outlets including:

This community led initiative features Capital Region photographers whose images were selected for the calendar. In response to interest in purchasing particular photos, the BID is now offering the ability to purchase reproductions of individual calendar images suitable for framing. These images are printed on Crystal Archive paper with a 75 year archival rating sized either 14" wide x 11" high or 20" wide x 16" high with retail prices of $60 and $90 respectively, printed by McGreevy ProLab located at 376 Broadway in downtown Albany.
