ADVISORY: Champlain Canal Inspection Tour Nov. 3 & 4

ALBANY, NY (11/01/2011)(readMedia)-- WHAT: Annual inspection tour of the Champlain Canal.

WHEN: Thursday, Nov.3, and Friday, Nov. 4

(detailed schedule below; times subject are to change).

WHERE: Washington County, Rensselaer County and Saratoga County.

WHO: Canal Director Brian U. Stratton will meet with Canal workers, local officials and stakeholders. He will travel by tugboat. He will be available to the media to talk about the importance of the Canals to the economy of Upstate New York.
