Albany's Restaurant Week Brings Restaurant Deals and More April 25 - May 1
ALBANY, NY (04/20/2010)(readMedia)-- The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) announced its Spring 2010 Restaurant Week will begin Sunday, April 25th and run through Saturday, May 1st.
Twenty-one independently-owned restaurants will offer fixed-price, three course meals, normally valued at $35, for the price of $20.10: Albany Pump Station, Amo La Bella, Bayou Cafe, Café Capriccio, Envy, Franklin's Tower, Hudson Harbor Steak & Seafood, Jack's Oyster House, Jillian's, Kelsey's at the Crowne Plaza, La Serre, Mansion Hill Inn, Marche at 74 State, Savannah's, V & R Italian Ristorante, Victory Café, The Hollywood Brown Derby, Katrinella's Bistro, and The Hideaway at Pagliacci's. "Downtown Albany's Restaurant Week is such a popular event with both our restaurants and patrons," said Georgette Steffens, the BID's Executive director. In addition to the dining promotion, Restaurant Week patrons can enter to win hundreds of dollars in downtown dining gift certificates by filling out a brief survey about their dining experience. Winners will be chosen at random from all completed surveys. Participating restaurants have each donated $50 certificates toward the drawing. Prizes include: 1st Prize: $500 (10 dinner certificates), 2nd Prize: $350 (7 dinner certificates), and 3rd Prize: $200 (4 dinner certificates).
Since its inception in 2004, Downtown Albany's Restaurant Weeks have had a combined economic impact of close to $3 million.
