Alicia Parshall of Grosse Pointe Woods to sing in Beloit College's Evening on Broadway
BELOIT, WI (12/15/2011)(readMedia)-- Alicia Parshall of Grosse Pointe Woods will sing in Beloit College's "Evening on Broadway" concert tonight (Wed. Dec. 14) in Pearsons Hall. Parshall is a sophomore and a graduate of Detroit County Day School. She is the daughter of Christi Kaczanowski and Donald Parshall.
The Evening on Broadway concert features musical theatre hits from well-loved classic shows as well as contemporary pieces. The cabaret-style performance showcases the talents of the college's vocal students who will be accompanied by student and faculty pianists. Professor Emerita Eudora Shepherd, who began the Evening on Broadway tradition, continues to organize the concert.
Parshall will sing "My White Knight" from 1957's "The Music Man."
