American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania Welcomes Mr. Barry A. Epley as President of the Board of Directors
Harrisburg, PA, May 22, 2014 – American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania is proud to announce Mr. Barry A. Epley as its new President of the Board of Directors. Mr. Epley assumed office on May 14, 2014 for his one year term.
ACEC/PA is a nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to the promotion and enhancement of the business interests and profitability of engineering firms with offices in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Epley currently serves as the Senior Vice President at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. where he oversees their operations, business development, strategic planning, amongst other responsibilities for their offices located in Pittsburgh, York, Allentown, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Throughout his career at JMT, Mr. Epley has been involved in transportation projects, design and management of bridge and highway projects, and advancing JMT's Markets across the Commonwealth, which includes: Transportation; Buildings & Facilities; Water, Wastewater & Utilities; Federal Programs; Energy, and Information Technology.
"ACEC/PA is excited to have Barry serve as President, and is looking forward to utilizing his experience and industry knowledge to further our ongoing efforts and to promote the organization's goals and strategic plan over the next year," said Eric Madden, ACEC/PA Executive Vice President.
Mr. Epley succeeds former President Mr. David S. Lowdermilk, PE, who serves as Regional Vice President and Principal-in-Charge of Transportation Engineering for Pennoni Associate's Philadelphia office.
The ACEC/PA Board; Executive Vice President, Eric Madden; and staff would like to thank Mr. Lowdermilk for his service as President and ongoing dedication to the organization.
