Anchorage native wins Sustainability Fellowship

BELOIT, WI (04/26/2013)(readMedia)-- Anchorage native Arianna Cocallas, a freshman at Beloit College, has won a Sustainability Fellowship. She will join Beloit College Physical Plant Director Michael Brady to assess the potential for improvements in energy use on campus. She will examine ways to reduce the college's energy consumption and to develop economic models to assist the college in making decisions about where to invest resources.

Beloit College is a residential, liberal arts college offering 40 majors to its 1,250 students. Located 90 miles northwest of Chicago, Beloit is one of the nation's most international colleges, drawing students from 41 nations as well as 49 states.
