Background: On Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 1:00 - 2:30pm, Hélène Biandudi Hofer will share her powerful story of success as part of Genesee Community College's Fashion Business Program Speaker Series.
Starting at just eight years old with a home-made studio and using her friends and neighbors as subjects, Hélène began producing her own news stories and fashion shows. From vintage clothing in her dress-up trunk, to reporting and producing WXXI-TV's popular weekly newsmagazine show, Need to Know, Hélène's journey is truly one to admire.
Come and hear how Hélène's desire to shed light on issues affecting under-served populations and to connect cultures and communities through story shaped her career and powered her success.
GCC's Fashion Business Program students and faculty welcome the public to join us on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in room T102 of the Conable Technology Building on GCC's Batavia Campus. This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited. If you are unable to attend visit http://www.genesee.edu/home/event-streaming/ to watch it live.
