The Berkshire Country Day School Parents’ Association is pleased to present “How to Speak so Kids Will Listen,” an informative and interactive workshop to be held on BCD’s campus Friday, October 19 at 8:15 a.m. in the PM Room with featured guest speaker, Bill Corbett. If you are a parent tired of repeating yourself over and over to get your child to cooperate than this workshop is right for you!
Bill Corbett is a co-author of the “Creating cooperative Kids™ program and an executive training director with the International Network for Children and Families. Parents will be given several highly effective tools to use with their children, including: o Easy to use alternatives to yelling o Tips for keeping kids from falling into "Parent Deafness" o New approaches for speaking to children, from 18 months through 18 years old o Ways to handle backtalk and sassing o Techniques for ending arguments
