ALBANY, NY (07/25/2008)(readMedia)-- Help Fight AIDS Through Books and Music, an AIDS Council of Northeastern NY volunteer project, will be holding its second summer benefit book and music sale in front of Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza during Stuyvesant Plaza's Sidewalk Sale Day on Saturday, August 2 from 9:30 am to 6 pm. The first sale held on June 28 raised over $2,000.

The sale will feature a large supply of new and used books, music and movies all at bargain prices. In addition, a 2008 "Entertainment Book" or "Enjoy The City Coupon Book" will be given away free if a customer buys a 2009 version.

Book House has been sponsoring Help Fight AIDS Through Books and Music since the project began in 1993. The AIDS Council volunteer project, which started with a small used book sale, now has a number of on-going projects involving over 100 volunteers.
