WALLA WALLA, WA (01/24/2013)(readMedia)-- Berkeley native Noah Teller is working to eradicate weeds in the Walla Walla area through an internship at Whitman College. He plans to design and implement a program to rid waterways of Knotweed. The internship is sponsored by the Tri-State Steelheaders' CURB (Creating Urban Riparian Barriers) project.

Teller is the son of Chuck Teller and Betsy Bigelow-Teller. He is a 2010 graduate of Berkeley High School.

At Whitman, Teller is a junior biology major.
