Berkshire Country Day School Announces Fall Open Houses

LENOX/STOCKBRIDGE, MA (09/19/2016)(readMedia)-- Berkshire Country Day School, an independent school for students in Preschool through Grade 9, has announced its fall schedule of Open Houses.

These information sessions for parents and caregivers of all grades will be held on Thursday, September 29 and Thursday, October 27. There will also be a special Open House for both adults and children on Tuesday, November 8, when many public schools are closed for Election Day. Each session runs from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Berkshire Country Day School's campus, located at 55 Interlaken Road (Route 183) in Stockbridge, MA.

Berkshire Country Day School's Open Houses are designed for families interested in learning more about BCD's intentional approach to education that blends proven methods with emerging best practices in teaching and learning. Visiting parents will have the opportunity to chat with current BCD parents, see students in action, tour the 27-acre campus and classroom buildings, meet members of the faculty and administration, and hear more about the School's comprehensive curriculum and co-curricular programs that emphasize academics, the arts, and athletics. Families can also learn about the school's after-school enrichment programs, extended-day options, bus transportation, and the new facilities, the Kim and James Taylor Music and Performance Room, and the Kevin Hirt Library and Learning Commons, scheduled to open in early 2017. Details and registration, which is encouraged, are available at berkshirecountryday.org/events.
