LENOX, MA (06/30/2009)(readMedia)-- Berkshire Country Day School, an independent school for students in preschool through ninth grade, will be hosting a Monday morning story time hour for children ages 3-5 and their parent/caretaker. 'BCD Reads,' part of BCD's 'Five for Fives' summer program series for preschool and kindergarten aged children, is free and open to the public.
BCD Reads will be held on Mondays from 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. in Berkshire Country Day School's library in Albright Hall on the school's historic Brook Farm campus located on Route 183 in Stockbridge. A different book and special guest reader will be featured each week, with the reading to be followed by an age- appropriate and theme-related project. Children and their parent/caretaker are encouraged to dress up and join in the fun of reading.
Monday, July 6 - Dr. Seuss & Friends - Dress up as your favorite Dr. Seuss character, 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Monday, July 13 - "Curious George" - Dress up as or bring your favorite stuffed animal for when George visits the zoo, 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Monday, July 20 - "Honey, Honey Lion!" - Wear brightly colored clothes and get ready to move!, 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Monday, July 27 - "Blueberries for Sal" - Dress up in blue & bring your teddy bear, 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Monday, August 3 - "Toot & Puddle" - Dress up from a place you've traveled, 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
