Berkshire Country Day School to Host Saturday Morning 'BCD & Me' Parent-Child Program

LENOX, MA (06/18/2009)(readMedia)-- Berkshire Country Day School, an independent school for preschool through ninth grade students, will be offering a five-week, Saturday morning summer program for children ages 3-5 and their parent/caretaker.

'BCD & Me' will be run by one of BCD's preschool educators. The program will feature a different theme each week, taking advantage of Berkshire Country Day School's 27-acre campus and environs, and provide age-appropriate programming designed to inspire learning through play and discovery.

Sessions include:

• June 27 - Exploring Pond Life
• July 11 - Nature Crafts
• July 18 - Creative Movement & Group Games
• July 25 - Science Fun
• August 1 - Dinosaurs Day!

All sessions will meet in the Albright Building on Berkshire Country Day School's campus, located at 55 Interlaken Road (Route 183), from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. This one-hour experiential program is free and open to children ages 3-5 and their parent or caretaker.
