Blessing Wins Railroad Scholarship

HOUGHTON, MI (03/28/2013)(readMedia)-- Michigan Technological University's Rail Transportation Program (RTP), a part of the Michigan Tech Transportation Institute (MTTI), awarded eight scholarships this spring.

Among the recipients was Christopher Blessing, a sophomore civil engineering major from Northport, who was awarded $1,000. He is a graduate of Northport Public School and the son of Robert Blessing.

All scholarship recipients were members of the Railroad Engineering and Activities Club (REAC), a multidisciplinary student organization for those with an interest in rail.
