Bourne Receives National Team-of-the-Week Nod

GEORGETOWN, TX (11/27/2012)(readMedia)-- The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 16th season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.

Annie Bourne (Southwestern University)

Bourne, a sophomore from Dallas, TX, averaged 14.0 points and 20.0 rebounds as Southwestern opened the season with a pair of wins against American Southwest Conference teams. She shot 52.6 percent from the floor and averaged 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals and had three blocked shots in the two games.

Southwestern faces a rematch of their first contest on Tuesday night, taking on Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton at 5:30 p.m.
