CHESTERTOWN, MD (12/18/2012)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Brandon Citrano '14 of Middle River, MD is a recipient of a 2012-2013 Kappa Sigma Scholarship-Leadership Award. This year marks the 143rd anniversary of the American founding of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. On December 10th, the organization disbursed nearly $165,000 in scholarships to 300 candidates, recognizing them for their commitment to scholarship, leadership and service. The honor is reserved for less than 2% of Kappa Sigma undergraduates.
A psychology major, Citrano holds the position of vice president II of development for the Washington College chapter of Kappa Sigma, and has previously been its vice president III of public relations. He is also an active member of Habitat for Humanity, the men's club volleyball team, and the Psychology Club. Citrano graduated from Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School.
