Brandt Farm Tops Iowa State Fair Super Bull Competition

DES MOINES, IA (08/09/2018) (readMedia)-- "231Z," the 3,050 pound Simmi/Angus bull owned by Brandt Farms of Corning, outweighed the competition to win the Super Bull contest judged Thursday at the 2018 Iowa State Fair.
DLH Angus of Indianola, took second place with their 2,984 pound Angus bull, "DLH Upward 122," and Bedwell Charolais of Osceola took third place with his 2,875 pound Charolais bull, "Quiet Riot."
"231Z," as well as the Big Boar and Big Ram, will be on display at the Iowa State Fair in the Cattle, Swine and Sheep Barns, respectively, through August 19.
