KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (01/07/2011)(readMedia)-- The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists entering the Turnpike's Northeastern Extension (I-476) at the Clarks Summit (Exit #131) Interchange to be prepared for the right-lane to be closed starting at 7 a.m. Monday morning (Jan. 10) until 5 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 13) for bridge deck repairs at milepost A128.5.
Monday morning crews will establish a single lane pattern, closing the right lane southbound between milepost A129-A127 for emergency bridge deck repairs. Motorists traveling on I-476 between Clarks Summit and Keyser Avenue (Exit #121) should stay alert for slow moving or stopped traffic when approaching and traveling through the area until the pattern is lifted Thursday at 5 p.m.
The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather and subject to change.
