Bridgett Buchanan Named to WNYAC All-Conference Second Team

BATAVIA, NY (11/21/2011)(readMedia)-- Bridgett Buchanan, a resident of Mount Morris, New York (14510) was among four members of the Genesee Community College women's soccer team who were named to the Western New York Athletic Conference All-Conference team. She was named to the All-Conference second team.

Buchanan was third on the team in goals scored this season with six and third in overall points with 14. She appeared in 10 of the teams 19 games.

The Lady Cougars finished the season with a 9-10 record and earned a victory in five of their last six contests. Their season ended with a 1-0 opening round loss in the Region III Tournament against Onondaga Community College on October 22nd.
