BROOKLYN, NY (03/31/2022) (readMedia)-- On Friday, the Brooklyn Community Recovery Center (BKCRC) will hold a ribbon cutting event for its new telehealth and training centers. After the deadliest year in U.S. history for overdose deaths, these new spaces will help increase access to recovery by providing telehealth access for people who do not have private internet access at home, and expanding capacity for peer recovery.
The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. with remarks from Phoenix House NY (BKCRC's parent organization) staff about Phoenix House history and activities, followed by remarks from City Council members Crystal Hudson and Chi Ossé at 4:45.
