In Celebration of Women's Equality Day

Brooklyn/Queens National Organization for Women (NOW) will host a special event to celebrate Women's Equality Day
"We've Come a Long Way Baby"
Date: August 30th, 2008
Time: 1 pm - 4 pm
Location: Brooklyn College Women's Center, 2900 Bedford Avenue-second floor, Brooklyn, NY
There will be a special silent auction with several feminists articles to bid on, along with special speakers and a slide show presentation. During this special event, activists will reflect on all of the political, social and economic achievements that women have made throughout history and up to the present.
