George Amedore is Extremist, Anti-Choice, Anti-Women, Anti-Equality

ALBANY, NY (10/28/2012)(readMedia)-- In a recent interview on WCNY Capitol Pressroom radio show, State Senate Candidate George Amedore stated that he is anti-choice -- no exceptions. In other words, even when the life of the mother is in danger and in instances of rape and incest, George Amedore will NOT support a woman's right to choose! George Amedore obviously believes that women do not deserve the right to control their bodies.

Marcia Pappas, President of NOW New York State PAC states "This is unacceptable! Fortunately, the voters of the 46th Senate District do have a choice in Senate candidate Cecilia Tkaczyk, who stands up for women's rights--no exceptions. Whether it is guaranteeing equal pay for equal work, or allowing women to make their own personal health care choices, Cecilia will not waiver."

Pappas further states "We cannot allow an extreme anti woman, out of touch candidate like George Amedore the opportunity to make vital policy decisions about women's health when he doesn't have our best interests at heart. George's extremist attitude has no place in this district, in this state or in this country."
