Burlington native to show short film in Cinequest Film Festival

WALLA WALLA, WA (02/29/2012)(readMedia)-- Zack Ellenbogen of Burlington worked with Whitman College Professor of Rhetoric and Media Studies Robert Sickels last summer to create a short film that will be shown at the Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, Calif., which will take place from Feb. 28 until March 10.

The film is a part of a shorts program called "Over Land, Over Sea." Both Sickels and Ellenbogen will attend the screening.

Their film has previously been shown at the Dam Short Film Festival in Boulder City, Nev. and at the Big Muddy Film Festival at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Ellenbogen, son of Peggy Carey and David Ellenbogen, is a 2008 graduate of Colchester High School. He is currently a senior rhetoric and media studies and philosophy double major at Whitman College.
