ALBANY, NY (03/11/2014)(readMedia)-- "The panel's report rightfully supports continuation of high standards, and also balances the need to have assessments that will ensure New York students are on the pathway to success and the need to correct some of the problems with initial Common Core implementation. By achieving the standards, as supported by the Commission, New York's children will be fully prepared when they approach college and careers. As New York employers, we want and need a strong and well-prepared workforce, and we continue to support high standards."
