Canal Corporation Announces Floating Docks Reopen for Public Use in Brewerton

The New York State Canal Corporation today announced that the floating docks in the Town of Hastings will once again be available for public use on Friday, May 14, 2010.

The floating docks can be accessed from East River Road.

The Canal Corporation temporarily closed the floating docks when part of the concrete Brewerton Pier fell into the water on Saturday, May 8, 2010, due to structural deficiencies. The pier will remain closed indefinitely until it can be replaced.
