Caroline Weston of Sugar Land Selected for Summer Research Project Sponsored by the National Science Fdn.

GEORGETOWN, TX (04/30/2012)(readMedia)-- Caroline Weston of Sugar Land has been selected to participate in a summer research program for undergraduates sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

Weston was selected to participate in a materials science research program at the University of Florida. She will spend 10 weeks working in the lab of Dr. H. R. Hamilton, an associate professor in the Department of Civil & Coastal Engineering.

Weston is completing her third year at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where she is majoring in physics with minors in math and art history. After graduating from Southwestern, she plans to apply to graduate school for studies in civil engineering.

Weston is the daughter of Anna-Maria and John Weston.
