Cazenovia College Art Gallery - Sabbatical Show Opens Sept. 1

Reception and Artist Lecture Series, 4 to 5:30 p.m., for two-person faculty show

CAZENOVIA, NY (08/27/2010)(readMedia)-- The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall opens the fall semester with a show titled "Abstractions, Landscapes and Light: Artist's Books, and Impressions in Watercolor." The exhibition runs from Wednesday, Sept. 1 through Friday, Sept. 24.

The Artist Lecture Series and a reception for the artists are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 1, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., in the gallery.

All works on exhibit are the accomplishments of two faculty members' sabbatical research and explorations. The artists are Josef Ritter, professor of interior design; and Allyn Stewart, assistant professor of visual communications.

The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall, 6 Sullivan St., is on the corner of Sullivan and Seminary streets in Cazenovia. Hours during the academic year are: Monday through Thursday, 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Friday, 1-4 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 2-6 p.m. Summer hours vary. All exhibitions are free and open the public.
