Chicago native wins Sustainability Fellowship

BELOIT, WI (04/26/2013)(readMedia)-- Chicago native Georgia Isham, a freshman at Beloit College, was recently named a Sustainability Fellow at Beloit College. As part of her project at the Community Action Garden, she will collaborate with staff of Community Action and two high school students to maintain the Porter Avenue sharing garden and to run a garden club for neighborhood youth.

Beloit College is a residential, liberal arts college offering 40 majors to its 1,250 students. Located 90 miles northwest of Chicago, Beloit is one of the nation's most international colleges, drawing students from 41 nations as well as 49 states.
