I have become very interested in sustainability and I want to learn how to design sustainable infrastructure that will help the planet and make a positive difference in the lives of humans and wildlife. It fascinates me that I could design everything from simple water filtration for small villages to huge skyscrapers in bustling cities," Pawlowski said in her application.
SWE awarded nearly 260 scholarships totaling more than $810,000 to students for the 2019-2020 academic year. The SWE scholarship program looks to help these young individuals accomplish their dreams of becoming engineers.
