Community & Labor Rally in NYC on Sunday to Protect Saturday Mail Delivery and Strengthen the Postal Service

Seniors, Small Businesses, and Workers will all be harmed if ill-conceived plan moves forward

ALBANY, NY (03/22/2013)(readMedia)-- The Postal Service's plan to downsize and end six-day service is an attack on the future of this great institution, on the customers who need it and on the employees who support it. Many Americans – especially small business owners and senior citizens – would suffer if the strength and reach of the Postal Service is compromised. In addition, cutting Saturday Mail would delay important household and business transactions including bills, invoices, and personal communications, and may force customers to shift to high cost competing services.
