Concordia University Inducts Lakeville Resident Into Athletic Hall of Fame

ST. PAUL, MN (10/11/2010)(readMedia)-- Don Hunter '80, of St. Paul, Minn., was inducted into the Concordia University, St. Paul, Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010.

Hunter graduated from St. Paul Central High School and went on to graduate from Concordia in 1980. Hunter was a standout baseball player for the Comets in the late 1970's, being named an NLCAA All-American and the team's MVP in 1978. He was a two-time All-Conference selection, in 1978 and 1979. Hunter remains active in sports as the Lakeville North Baseball Youth Travelling Coach and as a board member of the Lakeville North Boys Basketball Association.

Hunter has enjoyed a successful career that has taken him from a regional sales manager at GE Capital Fleet Services, to TCF Equipment Finance Inc., where he is currently a VP in Specialty Markets and Sales. He and his wife Sherri have an 11 year-old son, Alex.
