N.Y. Communities to Learn About Caps Program from Greenhouse

ALBANY, NY (10/29/2008)(readMedia)-- A Cornell environmental gerontologist will take the stage at a statewide conference on aging to teach a session on the Certified Aging in Place (CAPS) program.

Esther S. Greenhouse, M.S., will lead the workshop called "Enabling Housing: Understanding the Role of the Certified Aging in Place Specialist, Designing, Constructing and Renovating Elder-Friendly Housing." She specializes in how the built environment affects the functioning and well-being of older adults, with an emphasis on accessibility.
