BATAVIA, NY (02/04/2014)(readMedia)-- The Genesee Community College baseball program recently signed two area student-athletes to National Letters of Intent. Connor Barleben (Albion, NY) and Johnathan Warne (Albion, NY) have committed to join the program beginning in the fall.

Warne is a National Honor Society and High Honor Roll student and plans on majoring in Civil Engineering at GCC.

Barleben, also entering his senior campaign at Albion High School for Coach Blanchard, will join in the GCC mix as a pitcher/outfielder. A dominating pitcher at AHS, Barleben sported a sub one-run earned run average and was a first team All-League selection last season. He is a National Honor Society student and plans to major in Physical Therapy at Genesee.
