CAZENOVIA, NY (04/07/2011)(readMedia)-- The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall will host exhibitions of work by seniors in its Art and Design classes.
Craig J. Couture is a senior from Lincoln, R.I. who is majoring in interior design. Couture chose to display glassware he designed and created, rather than an interior design rendering. The show runs from April 18 - 24, with an artists' reception on April 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall, 6 Sullivan St., is on the corner of Sullivan and Seminary streets in Cazenovia. Hours during the academic year are: Monday through Thursday, 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Friday, 1-4 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 2-6 p.m. Summer hours vary.
Couture says of his interior design work, "Designing is like a puzzle, only the end result is unknown. This is what pushes me to produce innovative designs. One can never know how the pieces fit together; there are no corners or edges to start the puzzle, so the possibilities are endless."
