SAVANNAH, GA (03/27/2012)(readMedia)-- Savannah, GA -- Dallas native Matt Gray, currently studying for his M.F.A. in furniture design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, is one of a select few designers who has been invited to present their new, trendsetting designs at the prestigious Milan Furniture Fair, April 17-22 in Milan, Italy.

"I am looking to enter the professional realm and this trip allows me the opportunity to show the international community what I am capable of," said Bradley.

Matt, a 2005 graduate of J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas, will exhibit two pieces, "Li," a low table intended to encourage a new type of dining experience, and "Ante," a series of wall-mounted antlers that seek to create a juxtaposition between the natural world and manufactured objects, that can be used as a rack or serve as artful décor.

Matt received an undergraduate degree from the Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas. One of Matt's more recent designs, a bike rack and bench seating hybrid, debuted to great fanfare at North America's largest design exposition and was named one of 10 "Best Green Designs" of the year. Matt's work has also been featured in Designboom.com, the world's first online design magazine.

Matt's designs will be shown in the exclusive SaloneSatellite, which was created to focus on young, talented designers under age 35 from around the world. Since its inception, the SaloneSatellite has served as a hub for manufacturers and talent scouts. Designs at the SaloneSatellite have been through a rigorous selection process and were chosen for inclusion by a committee of professionals from the fields of design, architecture and design media.
